Daniel Vávra, the former writer and director of Mafia, has since moved on to his own studio in a different genre, but he’s no slouch at what he does…
In 2018, Warhorse Studios released Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which has since been released on multiple platforms. In April 2024, surprisingly late, the Czech studio announced the second installment, which is scheduled for release sometime later this year and could be the biggest release in the genre this year (although that could be contradicted by Dragon Age: The Veilguard from BioWare, or maybe Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 from The Chinese Room).
Interestingly, this game does not have a release date either, just like the other two games mentioned above, for which we do not know exactly when they will be released. In any case, the South Korean age rating board, GRAC, has rated Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and gave it a 19+ rating on August 1st, after the game was submitted to the committee on July 25th.
Looks like Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was rated in Korea

Although the game will be published by Deep Silver, Bada Games has submitted Dan Vávra’s next game to the GRAC. This is a South Korean localization and marketing company. Therefore, it is almost certain that the sequel to the first part will be localized in Korea. But why did the interior view RPG get a 19+ rating? According to the GRAC, the rating was given because of violence, sexual activity, swearing, drug and alcohol use, and gambling. So there will be a dice game where Henry can play and risk his hard-earned money, and although the GRAC didn’t elaborate, it’s likely that Farkle (the name of the dice game) will return from the first episode.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 does not yet have an exact release date. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. Hopefully it won’t go the way of Avowed (we reported on its new release date). Maybe we will find out soon.
