The Finnish studio, Remedy Entertainment, has been extremely busy lately. Following the success of Alan Wake 2 and the Night Springs DLC, they are already working on the next expansion, but other projects are also in the works.
According to the update, Control 2 is now ready to enter full production, meaning the developers have finalized the game’s concept, and the project is now on track. Meanwhile, the Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes have already passed this milestone, anThese include the highly anticipated sequel to the excellent Control and the remakes of the classic Max Payne games, which the team has recently provided new details about in their latest financial report.d development is in full swing, so their release might not be too far off, even though the studio has yet to set a specific date.
In addition to these two games, a more detailed update was provided on the multiplayer spin-off of Control, titled Condor, which, like the Max Payne remakes, is also under heavy development. Remedy has started working on various maps and mission types, and several internal tests have been conducted to determine what works well in the game and what does not. Unfortunately, the release date remains unclear, but the cancellation of the Kestrel project may have freed up enough resources to speed up the work.
The last time we received a similar update was in the spring, and although Condor was already in development then, significant progress has been made on Control 2 and the Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes, so hopefully, we only have to wait for a few more updates before these anticipated games are finally released.
