Fallout: London Breaks Records and Gets Even Better with New Update!

The mod for Fallout 4 is so big that it could almost be considered a game in its own right, though it still requires the base game from Bethesda Game Studios, which has been out for nearly a decade.

Two weeks ago, Team Folon released Fallout: London, a full conversion mod for Fallout 4 with new locations, missions, and voice acting. It was so popular that it set a record on GOG, aided by a 60% discount on the Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition for the mod in CD Projekt’s DRM-free game store. Over 500,000 users added the mod to their accounts in the first 24 hours, and nothing on GOG has ever seen this level of interest.

The response to Fallout: London has been excellent, but there have been some major issues with the Steam version, as Valve’s interface has the next-gen update that needs to be removed (or rolled back) for Fallout: London to work properly. Team Folon has been busy as well, releasing a new update for the mod that fixes several buggy mission lines (Broken Angel, Heaven Slayer). Some perks have also been tweaked (Lab Rat, Railway Spine), making them more serious than before. Weapons have also been tweaked, and the Thames wheel has been reduced from 250 to 169. Some characters were silent in some places, and that has been fixed (Beefy and Smythe were affected), and background noise is now perfectly audible, as there were issues with that as well.

However, we would like to reiterate that Fallout: London was added to your account on GOG 500,000 times in one day. This is a huge achievement for a mod, considering Team Folon is not making a AAA game, and the budget is a fraction of what Fallout 4 was made on…

No wonder Microsoft wants to see a new Fallout as soon as possible.
