Starfield is Set to Add a Highly Anticipated Feature! [VIDEO]

The game from Bethesda Game Studios (BGS) has something that was simply left out, but almost a year after its release, Todd Howard and his team are making up for it…

Earlier this year, Bethesda announced that it would be adding ground vehicles to Starfield. There were rumors about this at the end of July. Two versions of the buggies appeared. Two or, optionally with Vasco, three of us can sit in them, and NPCs who play a role in the rescue missions can also get in. Both types have weapons. It will have a laser and a rocket (the former with slowdown) and will be scaled to the player’s abilities. They will be easy to acquire and move around. They will spawn near the ship when purchased from the ship’s technicians, but customization will be limited (colors), and new parts will be expected to make new vehicles. They look more manageable compared to the horse in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, based on the video below.

Howard confirmed the vehicles this past June: “You know, we’re designing them, I’m sure you’ve seen this in our other games, where we want to design them to feel good on foot, but we have the boost pack. You saw some of that in the video and you have skills for the boost pack so the boost pack almost acts like this vehicle that you can fly through. It’s super fun. That’s something we thought about. Once you do vehicles, it changes the gameplay, so by focusing on walking once you land with your ship, it allows us to really create an experience for players where we know how fast they’re seeing things. In a sense, you have a vehicle. Obviously you have your spaceship, you can go around in space, but then on the surface you have a jetpack that you can upgrade, which is super fun, a new experience for us.

Starfield’s first add-on, Shattered Space, is coming soon to the Xbox Series and PC. BGS and Microsoft have also trademarked the name Starborn, which could be the name of the second game. Howard has already stated that he would like to see an annual content expansion…
