A Rockstar Classic Receives a New Rating, But Don’t Be Fooled!

It’s not a good idea to think anything good, because Rockstar and Take-Two haven’t really done much with the game in the last few years…

Bully (Canis Canem Edit) has been rated by the Taiwan Age Rating Committee for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. According to Gematsu, the X360 rating is an error, as Bully: Scholarship Edition, released for that console, already has a separate rating. Canis Canem Edit was the European name of the game at the time, which is why it was listed.

The PS2 version is already available on PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Store in emulated form, and Bully: Scholarship Edition, the updated version, has long been available for purchase on Steam, so it’s hard to make sense of what exactly has been rated in the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC trio for the Asian island nation, but we think it’s easy to explain what’s going on here.

Rockstar Games has already announced that Bully will be available to GTA+ subscribers on August 20th. So the timing is no coincidence, as it’s already the 19th, and although it’s a long weekend here, it’s not elsewhere, so it’s just a regular Monday and Tuesday for them, and so they don’t get a break. So Grand Theft Auto+ (whose Grand Theft Auto Online content is only available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, as the PC content is being dropped) will soon be getting the school vandal simulator released in 2006, as the service will be making several Rockstar titles available to subscribers.

So, no, it won’t be a remaster, because some images or details might have been leaked, and the Rockstar/Take-Two duo isn’t as closed as Nintendo, so we’d probably already know if a new version of the game was being made. If there’s no chance of a sequel (although that was previously planned).
