The game from TiMi Studio Group and Level Infinite will be released on PC for the first time in Early Access, and we’ve already found out when.

Team Jade premiered the new gameplay trailer at the Opening Night Live at Gamescom, where the name of the game was changed to Delta Force. The gameplay trailer gives fans a look at the new extraction map, Brakkesh, and showcases the weapon arsenal. Ahead of Early Access, players can expect Delta Force at the Steam Next Fest in October with new reveals and gameplay details. At Gamescom, players can enjoy hands-on experiences with the game, photo opportunities, and exclusive merchandise throughout the conference.

Delta Force is an upcoming free-to-play tactical shooter that will feature large-scale multiplayer modes, as well as an action-packed single-player/cooperative campaign, a deep arsenal of customizable weapons, and more. The current alpha test includes both multiplayer modes. Havoc Warfare is a 32 vs. 32 player game mode where teams battle across two massive maps (available in the Alpha) of authentic terrain, using an array of military vehicles, tanks and aircraft to take on the enemy across large, living battlefields. In Hazard Operations, form a squad of three to take on rival teams and marauding AI-controlled mercenaries and royal guards. Random events across three massive maps (available in Alpha) will keep players on their toes, while player-versus-environment missions can be completed for valuable loot.

We’re excited to share Delta Force with even more players, first at Steam Next Fest and then during Early Access in Q4,” said Team Jade studio head Leo Yao in a press release.

So Delta Force will only go by that name from now on, and will launch in early access on Steam (and the Epic Games Store) in Q4, sometime between October and December, and will get a new demo at the Steam Next Fest in October. It will definitely make the jump to consoles later…
