Life is Strange: Double Exposure: Max-imal Abilities [VIDEO]

In the game by Deck Nine Games, we can find out what skills Max Caulfield, the main character of the first Life is Strange, has in Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

In addition to exploring Max Caulfield’s newly developed ability to switch between two parallel time planes, the demo video also focused on his new Pulse ability. Pulse allows Max to peek into the opposite time plane before jumping over, as the threat is not limited to just one time plane. Pulse allows Max to eavesdrop on conversations on the other side, the perfect paranormal tool for an amateur detective.

Max must use both aspects of his new powers to solve his friend Safi’s murder. As Max switches back and forth between two increasingly different time planes, his powers allow the player to solve unique puzzles, navigate the complex social dynamics of the campus, and discover all the mysteries of Caledon University.

So the paranormal gameplay remains this time as well (the only exception to this was perhaps Life is Strange: Before the Storm, since Max’s abandoned girlfriend Chloe Price was the protagonist there), but this time we get it in a slightly different way, and the first compared to part 1, we will not have time rewind (which, of course, created many alternative time planes, and we saw them in the five episodes at that time).

As for episodes, it should of course be noted here that this format has already been left behind by the franchise, so if it is a release, the entire game will be available to the public at that moment, excluding the DLC. And in the case of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, you don’t have to wait that long, except for one of the target platforms.

The game will be released on October 29th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store; guaranteed with Denuvo), and the Nintendo Switch has been leaked, as it will only come sometime later. The legacy of Dontnod (now Don’t Nod) is handled quite well by Deck Nine…
