PC Gamers Are Already Anxious Over the GTA 6 Release Date Speculations

PC gamers are growing increasingly concerned about the rumored release date for the highly anticipated GTA VI. If these speculations hold true, fans might be in for a long wait.

After years of speculation and leaks, Rockstar Games finally unveiled the first trailer for the next chapter in the Grand Theft Auto series, and it certainly lived up to the hype. As of now, the debut trailer for GTA VI has racked up over 205 million views on YouTube.

Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA VI will launch sometime in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but they haven’t pinned down an exact release date yet. However, the release window for GTA VI has been narrowed to late 2025.

Unfortunately, while it’s confirmed that a PC version of GTA VI will eventually be released, Rockstar Games has not provided any specifics regarding its release date or window. This uncertainty is causing quite a stir among fans.

“We all need to know,” commented Reddit user MaxSniffer007, while pointing out the previous release timelines for GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2. As many of us know, a PC port from Rockstar Games typically follows a year or two after the console release.

If Grand Theft Auto VI drops at the end of 2025, it’s speculated that the PC port could arrive between 2026 and 2027, though fans are hoping for the earliest possible release.

“I absolutely HATE waiting for the PC version, but that’s just the way it is,” vented an annoyed RockyRaccoon968. “I remember watching the RDR 2 trailer the moment it was released, and still had to wait three years to play it on PC. It was frustrating!”

“Why do you think PC users will have to wait two more years after the console release?” questioned rakeemid.

“I want to believe that with all the pressure and the long wait, Rockstar Games might just surprise us with a simultaneous release across all platforms,” hoped PhiltheAgony69.

Let’s hope that Rockstar provides firm release dates for GTA VI by early next year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
