Due to a mistake, the release date of the multiplatform game announced at the Summer Games Fest was leaked and now hidden, but the Internet won’t forget.
The game, which will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, is a great collaboration between the Lego and Guerrilla Games franchises, and the only official word from the publisher so far is that it will be released sometime during the Christmas rush, so at the end of the year, for almost all platforms. We’ve already reported on why we won’t be seeing Lego Horizon Adventures on the Xbox Series, and this time we have to point out that Sony’s reasoning is idiotic…
It was revealed on Reddit that the PlayStation Store had listed a release date, which was then confirmed by Gematsu. Of course, they’ve since taken that date off, but we can tell you that it’s November 14th. That’s on a Thursday, so it’s not the usual Tuesday or Friday, which is usually the day when the bigger AAA or at least multiplatform games are released in both digital and physical stores.
According to https://t.co/L4tkx0LULC‘s home page, LEGO Horizon Adventures is launching November 14. Possible Nintendo Direct announcement?

Lego Horizon Adventures runs on Unreal Engine 5, and we’ve seen a lot of other games using this technology lately. One such game is Black Myth: Wukong from Game Science in China, which the studio has officially announced has now sold over 10 million copies. In addition to Lego Horizon Adventures, Guerrilla Games has confirmed that it will continue to work on the Horizon IP, but that a multiplayer project is in the works at the Dutch studio. So their previous big hit, the Killzone franchise, remains in the parking lot, as its last installment was one of the PlayStation 4’s opening titles, Killzone: Shadow Fall in 2013.
So Lego Horizon Adventures will be released on November 14th for PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch. The game is being developed not only by Guerrilla Games, but also by Studio Gobo, which previously worked with Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Avalanche Software (Hogwarts Legacy).
