MOVIE NEWS – “Inside Out 2,” the highly anticipated animated film from Disney and Pixar, will debut on the Disney+ platform on Wednesday, September 25.
Certified “Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes™, the eagerly awaited and heartwarming sequel has already garnered acclaim from critics, with Jazz Tangcay of Variety calling it “absolutely perfect, hilarious” and Landon Johnson of Awards Watch describing it as an “unforgettable experience.” The film Inside Out 2 has become the highest-grossing animated film of all time, reaching the $1 billion mark worldwide faster than any other, and currently ranks as the 8th highest-grossing film on the global box office chart.
In Inside Out 2, Disney and Pixar return to the mind of Riley, a newly minted teenager, just as an unexpected and massive upheaval occurs at Headquarters: new emotions must find their place. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who have long maintained effective control, find themselves in a dilemma when Anxiety appears. He is not alone; he brings along Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, with Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. The film was written by Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein, directed by Kelsey Mann, and produced by Mark Nielsen.
It was also announced today that Disney+ has launched a limited-time offer allowing new and returning customers to stream the biggest movies and series of the fall for just HUF 999/month for three months until September 27.
