Respawn Entertainment is already working on the next and final episode of Star Wars Jedi after Fallen Order Survivor…
There will be more news from the Electronic Arts Investor Day presentation today, and there will be at least one… very interesting revelation. Star Wars Jedi Part 3 is not one of them. Laura Miele, President of Entertainment and Technology at Electronic Arts, confirmed that more than 40 million fans have joined Cal Kestis on his journey to become a powerful Jedi, and that Respawn Entertainment is already working on the final chapter of this compelling story for players to experience. So there won’t be a fourth part, or if there is, following CD Projekt’s example, they’ll probably have to start with a completely new character to develop…
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released on November 15, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, on November 24, 2020 for the now-defunct Google Stadia, and on June 11, 2021, Respawn released the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the game. It was followed by a sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which was released on April 28, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC, and finally a previous-gen version was made: the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One port was released yesterday, September 17.

In related news, we saw on Twitter that Electronic Arts and Respawn have done something that the current-gen version didn’t: it turns out that the PlayStation 4 version can be played offline in its entirety, so everything doesn’t end after the tutorial like it does on the PlayStation 5. So you don’t have to update the game to get everything! That’s very fair, and if you play the PS4 version on PS5, it runs at 60 FPS!
So Respawn seems to have delivered a solid version for the previous generation.
