8 Square Enix RPGs Now on Xbox Series, with a 9th on the Way! [VIDEO]

During the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft announced that Square Enix will be bringing a number of games to the Xbox Series, opening the door for more major titles from the Japanese publisher in the same genre…

Of the eight games already available, the first six are Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster. The first and second games cost $12 each (discounted to $9.6), the other four cost $18 each (discounted to $14.4). If you buy the six games together on the Microsoft Store, the price is $75 ($60 on sale). The six remasters are now available not only on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android, but also on the Xbox Series.

The seventh game on our list is the Legend of Mana Remaster. It can be purchased on the Microsoft Store for $30. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can also get the game that way for Xbox Series and PC, which will be released in June 2021 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam), and in December for iOS and Android. But that’s not the end of the expansion.

The eighth game is the Trials of Mana remake, which can be purchased on the Microsoft Store for $50. The Xbox game series is also available on console and PC for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. It was originally released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 24, 2020, and made its way to iOS and Android on July 15, 2021.

But what’s the ninth game? Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 14. But interestingly, there’s been no announcement about Xbox Series versions of either Final Fantasy XVI or Visions of Mana. In fact, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is currently only available for PlayStation 5, and we’re still waiting for a port.

So RPG fans can enjoy more Square Enix games on Xbox.
