Your Mind Controls the Future: Apple Vision Pro and Brain Implants Make Sci-Fi Reality!

TECH NEWS – Apple’s Vision Pro made history with a brain implant. A tetraplegic patient is now able to control a computer with their mind thanks to mixed reality glasses.

One of the most significant launches in the tech world this year was Apple’s Vision Pro. Virtual reality fans saw a resurgence of interest in the field with this device. However, over time, the impact of Apple’s glasses has faded, and despite multiple updates, the Vision Pro has yet to win over mainstream users for various reasons.

Still, this doesn’t mean it’s not one of the year’s most crucial products. Thanks to its features, the Vision Pro functions like a computer, allowing users to integrate digital content into its ecosystem. Users can control it with their hands, voice, or eyes, but some have taken it a step further—using their minds to control the Vision Pro.

A Step Forward in Line with Elon Musk’s Initiative

As the French site JeuxVideo recently reported, a paraplegic individual can now control Apple’s Vision Pro using only their mind. However, this isn’t possible with Apple’s technology alone; it also requires a brain implant developed by Synchron. This chip captures neural impulses and translates them into computer-readable code. Through an antenna placed under the skin near the chest, the user can control the Vision Pro with their thoughts.

The data transmitted by the brain implant is analyzed and interpreted by pre-installed software. However, this technology is still in its trial phase, meaning it’s not yet available to the public. Before its official release, some ethical concerns need to be addressed to prevent potential misuse.
