Co-op Mode for GTA VI?! Here Are the Leaked Details!

GTA VI gameplay leaks quietly confirm that this is one of the major new features no one is talking about…

Among the rumours and leaks surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI, there’s one that, despite its importance, doesn’t seem to be talked about much. Over the past decade, even before its official announcement, GTA VI has been the subject of many leaks and rumours. However, this is perhaps not surprising, considering that it is one of the most anticipated games of all time.

Among the many speculations were details that were even confirmed by the first official GTA VI trailer, which was released last December.

One feature that hasn’t been confirmed yet but has strong evidence is possible co-op gameplay.

As we know, GTA VI will star Jason and Lucia, and much like Michael, Trevor, and Franklin in Grand Theft Auto V, we can expect to switch between the pair as needed/wanted.

However, according to information discovered by a user on r/GTA6, our new protagonists can be controlled by up to two players.

If this is true, then this will be the first time that we will be able to do this in Grand Theft Auto’s story mode.

“As I delved into the leaks, I stumbled upon what appears to be a ‘Player Action Manager’ that showcases various in-game actions available to players,” the user explained.

“The manager consists of five different sections: Action List, Source States, Action Context, Scenarios, and Conditional Actions.”

They go on to explain that there are actions like “Downed Self Revive”, which can mean that if the other player is busy, you will be able to revive yourself. “The Buddy Comms action also piques curiosity,” they continue.

“The use of buddy in this context might imply a code word for another co-op player, as it would make little sense to refer to the two main characters as buddies in the game’s narrative. It could involve communication between the two players, possibly for coordination, sharing information, or strategizing, or could maybe even involve voice chat.”

Of course, like all leaks, this information should not be taken for granted. However, such a major feature would definitely make Grand Theft Auto history.
