TECH NEWS – The South Korean company aims to achieve easier usability through artificial intelligence, so Samsung is also investing a lot of time and money into the technology.
Samsung is taking a slightly more aggressive approach with its Galaxy AI features, trying to stay ahead of its rival (Apple Intelligence). AI has improved customization options, camera performance, and multitasking capabilities. At the heart of its ecosystem is Galaxy AI, where continuous updates aim to enhance the user experience.
According to ET News, the South Korean tech giant is working on a new AI experience that will change how users interact with their phones. Samsung aims to make it so users won’t have to constantly fiddle with the settings menu, making it easier with the help of AI. A new feature is planned that will predict users’ needs through touchpoints and usage patterns, learning what changes or adjustments the user would make.
If Samsung pulls this off, it could be a massive shift, as the user experience would evolve with settings adjusting automatically. Bixby offers something similar, but it requires manual activation through voice commands and specific instructions. In contrast, this AI function would be more advanced, adjusting settings based solely on the interaction between the user and the phone.
If Samsung’s experience is successful and works well, it could spark a major revolution, leading other mobile manufacturers, including Apple, to steer their users in this direction. Companies tend to release AI-powered features quickly (even when they aren’t fully ready…), often resulting in suboptimal outcomes. That’s why we hope Samsung will thoroughly and carefully test this before making it public.
Either way, it sounds incredibly exciting.
