Silent Hill 2 Remake Helps Discover How to Unlock Secret Endings!

Bloober Team’s Remake can help us (with a little bit of attention) get two non-canon endings to Silent Hill 2 Remake.

It’s been almost three weeks since the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake for PlayStation 5 and PC, and we still don’t know exactly where the survival horror has been since then in terms of sales, as they announced a 1 million hit, but then went silent on the stats. Anyway, at some point either the Bloober team or Konami, the game’s publisher, will have more to say. (The result could be even better if the Xbox Series doesn’t get it a year after the PlayStation 5, i.e. October 8, 2025 at the earliest…)

On Reddit, user BeachSloth_ reported on the instructions he found in the Silent Hill 2 Remake to get the UFO and dog ending. The commenters added that there are also hints for the other endings (Leave, Maria, Water). There are step-by-step explanations of what to do. These clues are all located in places related to the specific ending: the UFO book is in the record store, and the dog book is in the pet shop that Team Silent cut from the original Silent Hill 2.

You can find instructions for the alt endings in various shops around town

Commentators have said that the UFO/Dog ending is harder to get because it’s not directly related to the story, but it should be added that if a person who has little to do with the original or the game industry were to play Silent Hill 2 Remake, this would be a huge help to them, because without it, they would have no idea that alternative endings exist. That’s why it’s a noble gesture on the part of the Bloober Team that the Polish team even paid attention to this small detail.

Meanwhile, the Bloober Team’s next game, Cronos: The New Dawn (a survival horror title) has started to leak and we reported about it in the news.
