PlayStation 5 Pro: Discover Three More Games and Their Extra Features! [VIDEO]

This time, we’ve rounded up what to expect when running some of the biggest titles on the half-generation console update released yesterday.

Although Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released last year, Ubisoft has released a PlayStation 5 Pro patch for it. On this console, you can play at 60 FPS in 4K resolution, thanks to PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaling. Quality mode is now the default setting and runs at 60 FPS instead of 30. The graphics have been improved, with higher resolution for shadows and reflections, nicer textures and a wider field of view. You can see all of this in the first video below.

Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have added PlayStation 5 Pro support for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The base resolution has been increased significantly over the base console. Quality mode can raytrace at 4K, but runs at 1800p by default and scales up to 2160p from there. Performance mode has a native resolution of 1200p and scales up to 1800p with raytracing and occlusion while maintaining 60 FPS. We couldn’t even find a comparison video of this on YouTube… Is Respawn’s game not that interesting for the public? Even though the third Star Wars Jedi is in the works!

Stellar Blade has also received PlayStation 5 Pro support. This has resulted in two new graphics modes that you can check out in the second video below. They are now called Pro and Pro Max. Pro Max is shown to significantly improve image quality and performance when used in priority resolution mode.

And in today’s news, we’ve also reported on No Man’s Sky getting PlayStation 5 Pro support, but we’ve also reported on a number of other titles over the past few days that have gotten the extra boost of a half-generation upgrade when running a game on it.

The PlayStation 5 Pro went on sale yesterday. Its base price is $700/€800.
