Spider-Man 2 Welcomes the Launch of the PS5 Pro With a Little Gift! [VIDEO]

Now that the PS5 Pro has been released, the creators of Spider-Man 2 welcome it with a free cosmetic pack…

The PlayStation 5 Pro has been released, and as is often the case with such events, some of Sony’s in-house studios are celebrating the release with all sorts of releases. Insomniac Games has also joined the party, confirming that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to test the console’s mettle with a new graphics update. But if that wasn’t enough, the team decided to take the celebration to the gaming community with a free cosmetic pack.

According to their latest X announcement, Insomniac Games is giving away the “Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack” to all PS5 and PS5 Pro players; a pack that includes two eye-catching costumes for Peter Parker and Miles Morales. To get it, users simply need to visit the PS Store, search for this cosmetic set and add it to their game at no extra cost.

The adventure of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, like other exclusive and third-party games available for PS5, will receive a graphical upgrade with the technical capabilities of the PS5 Pro.

In short, as indicated by the YouTube video (see below) summarizing what’s new in the new version, the title gets more realistic reflections, extra details in the distance and a slightly renewed look thanks to 2-3 times faster Ray Tracing. All this, of course, at 60 FPS.

Spider-Man 2 has already received a PC release date

In addition to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 Pro features, it’s worth noting that Insomniac Games and PlayStation have already announced the PC release date for their latest spider-adventure. Excluding the development of DLCs, the team decided to release the port on January 30, 2025. The experience is expected to be well optimized for PC, thanks to the generally excellent work of the Nixxes Software studio responsible for the new version.
