Sony has announced the games that will be added to PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium on a rolling basis, as we have reached the second Wednesday of the month.
Chivalry II (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Digimon Survive (PlayStation 4), Dying Light 2: Stay Human (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Grand Theft Auto V (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4) (previously a PlayStation Plus title), Hungry Shark World (PlayStation 4), Killer Frequency (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Like a Dragon: Ishin! (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), MotoGP 24 (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Overcooked! All You Can Eat (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), The Sims 4 Island Living Add-on (PlayStation 4) (requires The Sims 4 base game), and Stick Fight: The Game (PlayStation 4). So they’ve pulled off a bit of a trick: one of the games has been on the list a few times before, and the other is an add-on that requires the base game. That sounds a bit like they are cutting corners somewhat.
The PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog is now only available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. As always, this is a very modest expansion. There’s one PlayStation title, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), a PS2 game, Blood Omen 2 (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), and two PlayStation 3 games, Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2.
These games will be available on PlayStation Plus from November 19th. Sony is still unable to reveal on the PlayStation Blog when which games will leave the service. Microsoft, on the other hand, can always do this, but with Sony you have to look for it on your console. That’s not fair on their part. A bit of transparency could bring a significant difference if they bothered.
