Wicked Star Gets a Fake Ear for Her Million Piercings [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – “My ears are not visible in the film,” laughs Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, the green witch in the film version of the musical Wicked, in an interview with Elle magazine. – Because of my million piercings, a prosthesis was necessary, for the execution of which a special specialist had to be contracted. He designed a new pair of earphones for me, I think it turned out quite nice.”

 

The Nigerian-born British actress also said that a special shade of green was mixed for her character, dubbed cynthia green. How long it took to paint it green varied: “It depended on how much surface was involved in the present – ​​Head, chest, hands or the whole body. In the latter case, it took up to four hours until they were painted completely green.”

Cynthiahas also been given exceptionally long claws, as befits a witch, but even her eyebrows and freckles have been worked on her face with a special technique.

It’s hard to understand with a Hungarian mind how much madness rages around Wicked in America, but if we try, let’s add The Attic, Square the popularity of The Jungle Book and The Pál Street Boys and you pretty much have it.
