Two AAA titles have been announced by the parties involved that they will be investigating the issues, and since one of the two games is still relatively new, it’s no coincidence that they want to fix the problems as soon as possible.
The Bloober team has said that they will be checking the performance of Silent Hill 2 Remake on PlayStation 5 Pro. The Polish studio has responded to a player on Twitter who brought the issue to their attention (they say there are graphical problems on the PlayStation 5 Pro), but we don’t yet know exactly what the problems might be or how long it will take Bloober Team to fix the visuals of the title on Sony’s half-generation console. Considering that this game was released on PlayStation 5 and PC on October 8th (over a month before PlayStation 5 Pro), it’s understandable if the visuals aren’t perfect on the console.
We’re working on it!

And Respawn Entertainment has said on Twitter that they’re aware that the second Star Wars Jedi game (we’re highlighting this because there’s a third in the works!), Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, isn’t perfect on the PlayStation 5 Pro, and they’re actively looking into how they can fix the bugs on the more powerful PS5. In any case, image quality is an issue for both games.
We’re aware of issues with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PlayStation 5 Pro and are actively investigating.

We recently wrote about how some titles on the PlayStation 5 Pro don’t look great because they’re using an older, less sophisticated version of the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaler because they’re using an older version of the Unreal Engine: the latest PSSR is supported by the 10th version of the Software Development Kit (SDK), and they may have been developing with SDK 9, so they couldn’t take advantage of the AI’s scaling capabilities.
Not all games struggle on the PlayStation 5 Pro, as God of War: Ragnarök and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, for example, showed how much more powerful visuals can be delivered by the more powerful PS5.
