10 Chambers unveils Den of Wolves, a free-to-play cooperative action game set in a dark future, featuring “ethical DLC” and music by Simon Viklund. Fans of Payday are in for an even more intense heist experience.
Swedish studio 10 Chambers Collective debuted the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming game, Den of Wolves, during The Game Awards 2024. This new cooperative game takes the adrenaline-fueled essence of Payday and elevates it with a grittier tone, enhanced by Simon Viklund’s techno-suspense soundtrack.
The game is set on the island of Midway City, inspired by a real Pacific island located within a unique legal zone of the United States. Players will find themselves in the middle of a corporate war, taking on the role of mercenaries and assassins. Their mission? Infiltrate buildings to steal wealth or secrets from corrupt executives teeming in every office.
Back to Heists
True to their GTFO roots, 10 Chambers doesn’t shy away from delivering violent, loud, and adrenaline-packed moments. The gameplay trailer offers a brief glimpse into these high-stakes conflicts but leaves much to the imagination.
When will Den of Wolves officially launch? It’s too early to say. Developers have teased that early access will begin in “202…”, leaving fans guessing whether that means next year or later. Regardless, with gameplay footage now available, the release doesn’t seem far off.
