Gameloft’s cross-generational, multiplatform puzzle-adventure genre game escaped February, but not by much, so it’s a question of how much attention it will get.
Carmen Sandiego will cost $30 base and $50 deluxe, though you can pre-order the latter for $40. There will be a retail release, but it will be a little later for the 40th Anniversary Edition, and that will only be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. In addition to the digital soundtrack and art book, the deluxe edition will include two skins (Classic, Motorcycle) and an anniversary cape (Where in the World). The 40th Anniversary Edition also includes a map, city stickers, and an exclusive 40th Anniversary sleeve.

The Carmen Sandiego reboot is out March 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. (Were the earlier Netflix early release plans scrapped?) The 40th Anniversary Edition will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Switch in mid-April.
