LG’s 2025 OLED evo TVs Come with AI-based Customisable Features

TECH NEWS – LG Electronics (LG) unveiled its latest OLED evo product line at CES 2025, including the world’s first wireless OLED evo M5 and OLED evo G5. Powered by LG’s latest α (Alpha) 11 AI Gen21 processor, the new TVs deliver unparalleled OLED picture quality with perfect blacks, exceptional brightness, and advanced image processing capabilities. With personalized features driven by artificial intelligence, LG OLED evo sets deliver a unique experience for every user and represent the pinnacle of OLED TV technology.

The latest OLED evo TVs feature LG’s advanced Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, which improves the light control architecture and Brightness Booster algorithms to deliver up to three times the brightness2 compared to conventional OLED models. This significant increase in brightness also enhances fine details at different brightness levels, resulting in a more vivid and realistic viewing experience.

LG OLED evo TVs capture every detail with true-to-life color reproduction, stable performance, and the latest models’ ability to display perfect blacks in both bright and dark settings. The OLED displays have been certified by UL Solutions as Perfect Black, Perfect Color, and have been certified by Intertek for 100 percent color accuracy. The 2025 OLED evo TVs also boast fast brightness and color temperature stabilization and have been certified by TÜV Rheinland as Fast Stability with Excellent Picture Quality.3 This also ensures that users will experience exceptional picture quality the moment they turn on the TV.

New for 2025, LG’s latest OLED evo 4K TVs support Filmmaker Mode® with ambient light compensation4. This feature precisely detects the lighting conditions surrounding the TV and automatically adjusts the picture settings to ensure scenes are displayed exactly as the director intended.

The latest LG OLED evo TVs are also a good choice for gamers in 2025, as they come with the industry’s first 4K 165Hz5 variable refresh rate (VRR) and NVIDIA® G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility. The OLED evo models enhance the gaming experience by ensuring smooth, tear-free gaming, minimal input lag and up to 165 frames per second. In addition, the OLED evo TVs are the first to receive VESA ClearMR 10000 certification – a guarantee that they can display flawless motion images even during fast-paced action scenes.

The 2025 OLED evo models are powered by the advanced Alpha 11 AI Gen2 processor. The processor’s deep learning algorithms analyze and fine-tune low-resolution and poor-quality content in detail, enhancing its quality and resolution with pixel-level precision for a natural and more distinct visual experience. Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional also delivers precise HDR10 content.

The stunning visuals are complemented by the rich sound of AI Sound Pro with virtual 11.1.2-channel surround sound, which uses artificial intelligence to adjust tonal balance and enhance clarity. Designed with personalization in mind, LG has built AI-based features into the new OLED evo TVs that adapt to users’ audio and visual preferences. By analyzing over 1.6 billion picture settings and 40 million sound profiles, AI Picture/Sound Wizard customizes audio and visual settings for each user. These AI-powered features represent a new level of smart TV innovation, making the 2025 OLED evo models the most intuitive and user-centric TVs on the market.

The personalized user experience is further enhanced by AI-powered controls. AI Welcome greets users by name and provides personalized recommendations based on their preferences and viewing habits, while AI Voice ID enhances convenience by recognizing the user’s voice, automatically switching profiles based on that, and suggesting content that matches their personal taste. Content search on LG’s latest OLED evo TVs is more convenient than ever: AI Search6 uses Large Language Model (LLM) technology to understand the context of the conversation and identify the user’s intentions. And Generative Image Gallery7 allows users to create custom backgrounds using voice commands, bringing a personal and creative touch to their TV experience.

The OLED evo’s user-friendly webOS platform provides a personalized and simplified experience for easier access to content and settings. The new home screen is faster, more convenient and more customizable with an improved user interface and categories. With webOS now supporting cross-platform integration, the TVs can seamlessly connect to ThinQ and Google Home, allowing users to manage and control their smart home ecosystem through a single interface through LG’s latest smart TVs. The webOS Re:New program extends the benefits beyond the purchase of the device, allowing LG smart TV owners to enjoy the most advanced TV experience for the next five years.

LG also introduced the first OLED TV capable of wirelessly transmitting audio and video, transforming the home entertainment experience with its unparalleled audiovisual performance. As the world’s first truly wireless OLED TV, the latest M5 series delivers up to 144Hz8 wireless audio and video transmission without lag or degradation in picture and sound quality. NVIDIA G-SYNC® Certified Wireless OLED TV delivers a smooth, tear-free gaming experience even during fast-paced 4K 144Hz action scenes. Building on this innovation, LG has already incorporated its advanced wireless technology into its QNED TVs.

LG’s OLED evo models have also been recognized with numerous awards, including the 83-inch G5 model receiving the 2025 CES Best of Innovation award, and the 83-inch M5 model receiving a major recognition in the display category.
