They’ve Created the Perfect Jurassic Park Raptor [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – The velociraptor is an indispensable character in the Jurassic Park franchise. It is a perennial favorite of fans: while various terrifying prehistoric reptiles come and go in each episode, it is certain that some raptors will always be trampling behind or next to the heroes.

However, there is a small problem with the raptors depicted in JP productions that fans have been mentioning for a long time. In reality, these dinosaurs were not lizard-like creatures like in the movie, but instead of scales, their bodies were covered with feathers and looked more like large birds.
This anomaly has now been eliminated, because CoolioArt has created the real raptor. It wasn’t difficult for him, because in Michael Crichton’s novel, which the first Jurassic Park film was based on, it is written in black and white that the dinosaur in question is a bird-like predator classified as Deinonychus. CoolioArt created the new raptors with Blender and put the finishing touches on them with After Effects, so the dinosaurs look as lifelike as if they were characters from the original Spielberg film. Not least because the video artists recreated the famous kitchen scene from the first film, where the children hide from the raptors among the counters.

The gesture was well done, but it is unlikely that the next dinosaur production, Jurassic World: Rebirth, will feature feathered raptors, because that would go against expectations. The seventh JP film is avowedly aimed at renewing the franchise, as its title suggests. This time, the heroes, led by Scarlett Johansson, must obtain genetic samples from the largest land, sea and air dinosaurs, and of course nothing goes as planned.
