Elden Ring Nightreign: Join the Closed Network Test Now!

FromSoftware’s game will be available to try for five short periods, but be prepared for these to be somewhat unusual times.

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have launched closed-network test signups, but as we’ve written before, PC users will be excluded, as will those with a previous console generation platform, so if you don’t have a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series near you, don’t sign up for the trial period for the game announced at The Game Awards 2024, which is set in the world of Elden Ring, but will be a standalone multiplayer cooperative action-RPG.

The first test (we’re writing Eastern Time for all test periods!) will run from 6am to 9am on February 14th. The second will run from 10pm on February 14th to 1am on February 15th. The third test will run from 2 PM to 5 PM on February 15th. The fourth test will run from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on February 16. The fifth and final test will run from 10 p.m. on February 16 to 1 a.m. on February 17. So there will be some times that are not very favorable for Europeans, but the world does not revolve around us, so sometimes we have to favor the North American players or the Asian players, and they are 6 or 9 hours ahead or behind us, so what is afternoon for us may be morning or evening for them.

Elden Ring Nightreign’s closed-network test gives you a taste of what From Software’s new cooperative experience will be like, but remember that you can only play in teams of three, so you can’t have four people. The challenge will be to get through a three-day period (as there will be time changes), and as time goes on, more challenging opponents and bosses will appear.

Elden Ring Nightreign doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but based on when Bandai Namco and FromSoftware are holding closed network tests, it’s likely to be released around May/June for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
