A French distributor, Micromania, has revealed a few things about the Nintendo Switch 2. Or at least one of its employees has. According to him, Nintendo’s new console will cost 400 euros. At launch, 25 games will be on the launch list, and new games will be available in stores for between 70 and 80 euros. He believes that Nintendo Switch Online will be more expensive and that there will also be limited edition bundles of Nintendo Switch 2. If there are indeed €80 games for the Big N’s next platform, they’ll be priced the same as PlayStation 5 titles, as Sony’s pricing is at that level. That’s why the information from someone called DoNotDisturb could be refuted. According to the person, Super Mario Galaxy 3 will also appear in the Nintendo Switch 2 launch lineup, and pre-orders for the platform will start “very soon.”

However, Nintendo Prime reported that he also spoke to DoNotDisturb, and he concluded that his claims were based on false information and called them false. So it’s really better to be doubtful about all of this, except that the Japanese company has until the end of March to unveil the Switch 2, which doesn’t even have an official name yet, because so far all the big N has said about the new hybrid console is that it will have backwards support, so it will be able to run the Switch offering.
