TECH NEWS – Samsung announces its collaboration with game developers Nexon Korea and Neople to deliver an unparalleled 3D experience with the upcoming video game “The First Berserker: Khazan.” The 3D elements of the video game will be specially customized and designed during development to utilize Samsung’s technology and the advanced capabilities of the Odyssey 3D monitor to provide gamers with an immersive 3D gaming experience.

Nexon, Neople and Samsung are working closely to develop the 3D visuals, which are carefully tuned based on the composition of the characters, backgrounds and movies that appear in the game. This process gives developers exceptional control over 3D effects to bring their creative vision to life with the utmost precision.

Nexon and Neople aim to fine-tune the focal length of 3D effects on a case-by-case basis, thereby determining when and how elements become 3D. These efforts reduce the common problem of crosstalk, which causes visual overlap, while heroic battles against final enemies and cinematic cutscenes can be experienced with clearer image quality.

“The First Berserker: Khazan” is a hardcore action role-playing game in which gamers can experience Khazan’s legendary journey from the front line and immerse themselves in the world of Dungeon & Fighter, one of Nexon’s leading universes. The video game is expected to be released internationally on March 28, 2025.

The Odyssey 3D gaming monitor, unveiled at CES 2024 and recognized with the prestigious Best of Innovation Award, will be available internationally in April 2025, offering groundbreaking 3D technology that can elevate the gaming experience worldwide.
