The Sims: Enjoy the Re-release of the First Two Episodes! [VIDEO]

Maxis and Electronic Arts have released new versions of the first and second The Sims, with their many add-ons, to run on modern configurations.

The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection are now available for PC for $20 each on Steam, Epic Games Store and EA App, or can be purchased for $40 as part of The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle. These already run on Windows 10 and Windows 11, as they didn’t run very well on modern operating systems by default.

In The Sims: Legacy Collection, these bundles are included with the base game: The Sims 4 Throwback Fit Kit and the following packs: The Sims Livin’ Large, The Sims House Party, The Sims Hot Date, The Sims Vacation, The Sims Unleashed, The Sims Superstar, and The Sims Makin’ Magic. The Sims 2: Legacy Collection includes these in addition to the base games: The Sims 4: Grunge Revival Kit, plus the following packs: The Sims 2: University, The Sims 2: Nightlife, The Sims 2: Open for Business, The Sims 2: Pets, The Sims 2: Bon Voyage, The Sims 2: Seasons, The Sims 2: Free Time, The Sims 2: Apartment Life, The Sims 2: Holiday Party Pack, The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff, The Sims 2: Glamour Life Stuff, The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff, The Sims 2: Celebration! Stuff, The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff, The Sims 2: Teen Style Stuff, The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff, and The Sims 2: Mansion & Garden Stuff.

Electronic Arts is looking to make some money on older The Sims games, as we heard that EA Sports FC 25 and Dragon Age: The Veilguard didn’t live up to the publisher’s expectations. This is easy money for them.

Both collections are already available for PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
