MOVIE NEWS – The streaming platform has renewed the Dan Fogelman-created series starring Sterling K. Brown for a second season.
Disney+ has announced that the original drama series “Paradise” from 20th Television will be renewed for a second season. The political thriller is created by Dan Fogelman (“The Killer,” “The Walking Dead”) and stars Sterling K. Brown (“The Walking Dead,” “The Walking Dead”) as Agent Xavier Collins. The first season of the 8-part series is available on Disney+, with the final episode set to air on March 4.
“Paradise” is set in a harmonious place inhabited by some of the world’s most influential people. This harmony ends when a shocking murder occurs and a thrilling investigation unfolds.
The first season stars Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin and Percy Daggs IV, and the series is produced by Dan Fogelman, Sterling K. Brown, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, John Hoberg, Jess Rosenthal and Steve Beers.
“Paradise” (Paradise) achieved a total of 7 million views in its first week on the American Hulu and international Disney+ streaming platforms. The series debuted as a huge success, receiving acclaim from critics and audiences, and was rated “Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.
The first season of the 8-part series is available on Disney+, with the final episode being released on the platform on March 4.
