With just 10 days remaining until the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, one of Ubisoft’s most significant titles, anticipation is building. This open-world adventure transports players to Feudal Japan, featuring protagonists Naoe and Yasuke. A wealth of information about Assassin’s Creed Shadows has already been shared, and developers have plans for two future expansions. Notably, the first story DLC is available for free with a game pre-order.

Several weeks ago, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows would run at 4K and 60 FPS on consoles. However, players lacked comprehensive details regarding performance and graphical modes. Addressing this, the French company published an article on its official website, accompanied by an image summarizing how Assassin’s Creed Shadows will perform on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, detailing the various Fidelity, Performance, and Balanced modes.

It has been revealed that on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will operate at 60 FPS with upscaled 4K resolution in Performance Mode, utilizing selective ray tracing, while Fidelity and Balanced modes will run at 30-40 FPS with standard ray tracing. On PS5 Pro, the same modes apply, but selective ray tracing is replaced with standard or extended ray tracing depending on the chosen mode.
