Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive are now on their fourth character reveal.
After Gustave, Maelle and Lune, this time Sciel was introduced, and next week Monoco will get a character trailer, so the developers are slowly revealing all the main characters, which is only right as the release date is getting closer. Sandfall Interactive also touched on what the PC and console options will be, but they were not specific about the game using Unreal Engine 5, to say the least…
PC players will be able to fine-tune the game’s graphics to their liking with a variety of in-game settings and presets (ranging from low to epic) to find an experience on their hardware that balances both incredible Unreal Engine 5-powered graphics and a consistent framerate for a smooth gameplay experience. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X console gamers can also look forward to playing the game in either Performance or Quality graphics modes to improve framerate and image resolution, respectively, depending on their preferences. For PlayStation 5 Pro owners, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced, meaning players on the console can also look forward to improved performance.
Xbox gamers can now pre-load the game ahead of launch and also take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere capabilities when the game launches later this month. The game’s digital release will be synchronized globally to launch at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET, allowing players around the world to begin their expedition and discover the game’s many secrets and surprises together.
Those looking to complete their experience in Expedition 33 can also attempt to claim the 55 Achievements available in-game, or 56 Trophies if the Platinum Trophy is included on PlayStation 5. Selected Achievements / Trophies that players can work towards include Expeditioner (reach level 33), Overcharge (use a fully charged Overcharge with Gustave to break an enemy), Follow the Trail (find all journals from previous expeditions), Professional (defeat a boss without taking any damage), or Connoisseur (find all 33 music records). Players will find many more Achievements / Trophies to discover in the game, including awards for completing a variety of challenges as part of the game’s core storyline, mastering the full potential of each party member’s unique combat skills, and overcoming challenging optional encounters that will test players’ combat skills.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be released on April 24th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam). It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
