TECH NEWS – This suggests that Samsung’s Galaxy S25, which aims for thinness, will not be one of the cheaper devices.
The South Koreans launched the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year, but attention has since shifted to the Galaxy S25 Edge. It is said to be an ultra-thin model and will be a direct competitor to the iPhone 17 Air, targeting users looking for a combination of performance and aesthetics. So far, we could expect it sometime in April, but perhaps it was no coincidence that there were rumors of technical challenges. A listing with European pricing details for the Galaxy S25 Edge has now briefly surfaced, but it has of course been removed, but too late.
Samsung’s launch strategy for the Galaxy S25 Edge has changed, and with its sleek and ultra-slim design, it has been causing quite a stir for some time now. Several leaks have revealed quite a few specifications about the yet-to-be-unveiled device. The price leaks suggest that the tech giant is not only aiming for a premium design, but also similar pricing and positioning. The listing was recently removed from the website of Italian retailer Zennetti, which also revealed the European pricing details of the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge. According to the now removed page, the base model is expected to be priced at €1362 (~$1500). The 512GB version was valued at €1488 (~$1636).
Previous speculations about the pricing of the Galaxy S25 Edge in Europe were lower than Zennetti’s pricing. The 256GB version was expected to cost between €1249-1259, while the 512GB version was estimated to cost between €1369-1379. If Zennetti’s pricing is indeed what Samsung is using, the company is positioning the Galaxy S25 Edge above the S25 Plus and pricing it higher than its mid-range devices. It could be the most expensive device in the lineup, making it a premium option in terms of design and price.
The leaked pricing details are supported by another Italian retailer, Epto. The device is expected to be available in Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icy Blue and Titanium Silver. But all this is not official yet!
