Hypercharge: Unboxed: The PlayStation Version Is Not Far Away! [VIDEO]

Digital Cybercherries has clarified when the first and third-person shooter with sentient action figures will make its way to the PlayStation console pair.

The game first launched on Nintendo Switch on January 31, 2020. This was followed by a PC port (on Steam) on April 27, 2020. From there, it took more than four years to make its way to other consoles, with the Xbox Series and Xbox One receiving Hypercharge: Unboxed on May 31 last year, and it’s available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store. The base edition will cost $30 and the complete version will cost $40, and will include the Breaker, Mightus, and Classic Hypercharge figures, as well as more than 18 unique skins and weapon materials.

Help Sgt. Max Ammo defeat a greater evil and save the Hypercore! Once upon a time, an ancient line of action figures created a magical power source that allowed people to keep their favorite childhood toys. This ancient power source is known as the Hypercore. Inside the Hypercore are the treasured memories of our favorite toys. If the Great Evil destroys it, those memories will be gone forever. Defend it with everything you’ve got, or watch as our beloved toys become lost treasures of the past!

Hypercharge is the first and third person action figure game you’ve always dreamed of! Grab your friends, complete objectives, defend the Hypercore against waves of weaponized toys, and defeat Major Evil together in the story campaign! Work as a team to defend the Hypercore. Grab a friend, break out of your toy box, and get ready to battle waves of classic toys. Prepare for each wave by searching for weapons, resources, and even hidden secrets. Not everyone likes to play online. Hypercharge supports offline, split-screen, and local play. You can progress and unlock everything in the game while playing solo.

Don’t have a team to play with? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered as a solo player. Player bots will listen to your commands, gather resources, and even help you build defenses. Hypercharge has hundreds of unlocks, all of which can be earned directly in-game without micro-transactions. Go head-to-head with other action figures and battle your way to the top of the leaderboards! Classic player-versus-player modes include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Battery, Infection, and King of the Hill.

Hypercharge: Unboxed will be available on May 30 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, with cross-platform support for Xbox Series/Xbox One/PC.
