Apparently, we won’t have to wait much longer for the next installment in the Battlefield franchise to be fully revealed.
According to a post from streamer Doom49, Electronic Arts’ next Battlefield game will be called Battlefield 6, and a full reveal event is planned for later this month. He posted a package allegedly sent by Electronic Arts featuring the Battlefield 6 logo. Shortly after, the post was deleted (likely at EA’s request), but Battlefield influencer RivalxFactor claimed the package was sent out ahead of the full reveal event.
The event is reportedly set for July 29, and will include the official reveal of Battlefield 6, developer interviews in a somewhat scripted format, and a presentation with content creators. Well-known streamers will get a direct look at what is being described as a return to the days of Battlefield 3 and 4—widely seen as the series’ golden age, even though that was more than a decade ago. EA has openly admitted that they want to capture that old magic again.
I have confirmed with another person that there is indeed a 3 day EA event starting on July 29th.
This is where Battlefield 6 will be revealed, devs will be interviewed in a somewhat fixed format, and the game will be featured with content creators.

Electronic Arts has already confirmed that the next Battlefield will release by the end of the current fiscal year (no later than March 2026), with a full public reveal happening this summer. Battlefield 6 has been in closed testing (Battlefield Labs) since March, and despite strict NDAs, significant gameplay footage has already leaked—much of which has been covered in previous reports.
After widespread disappointment over Battlefield 2042, EA is taking a more transparent approach to development this time. The publisher’s four internal teams, now known collectively as Battlefield Studios, are building a modern-era, interconnected universe. Battlefield 6 is widely expected to launch this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, though a Nintendo Switch 2 port is highly unlikely.
