Titan Quest II: Huge Interest Already in Early Access!

Grimlore Games’ Titan Quest II has gotten off to a particularly good start in the early access period, although it has not yet reached million-dollar sales.

THQ Nordic recently announced that the game sold more than 300,000 copies in less than three days since its early access debut on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. User reviews on Steam have been positive thus far, with 84% of the current 6,462 reviews being favorable, which places the game in the “very positive” category.

According to Grimlore Games, this version of Titan Quest II contains about 15 hours of content. The full version is expected to be available in about a year. However, once the game reaches version 1.0, the price will increase to €/$50. Those who want to join the early access program can do so at the discounted price of €/$30. Until August 8, however, they will receive an additional 20% discount, allowing them to purchase Titan Quest II for €/$24.

Grimlore plans to add new professions, content, world segments, stories, quests, and features (e.g., crafting) to increase the game’s lifespan. These new features and content will appear in Titan Quest II as soon as they are ready. Minor updates, such as bug fixes, balancing, and minor refinements, are expected monthly, though they may be skipped if no significant changes are needed. Major updates containing significant new features, mechanics, and/or content will be released approximately every quarter. During the early access period, the studio will introduce translations, as the game is currently only available in English.

Titan Quest II will, of course, be released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles later, but first, Grimlore Games must complete the early access period. Until then, console gamers will have to be patient.
