Styx: Blades of Greed: Stealth on a Knife’s Edge [VIDEO]

After its announcement in March, a short gameplay segment of the Cyanide Studio and Nacon game is finally available to watch.

Play as Styx, a cunning goblin with a wicked sense of humor who has mastered the art of stealth. Your goal is to obtain Quartz, the most precious — and dangerous — resource in a world on the brink of war between elves, humans, and orcs. Styx: Blades of Greed refines the proven formula of the first two games by placing freedom and creativity at the heart of the experience. Explore vast, vertical environments, and master new tools and powers. Whether you’re discovering Styx for the first time or you’re a longtime fan, there’s never been a more exciting time to be greedy.

No more working for others! This time, our famous green-skinned friend has set out on his own and is leading his own crew. Aboard his zeppelin, Styx and his crew hunt for a new, mysterious power source: Quartz. Throughout your mischievous journey, you’ll encounter familiar faces and colorful new characters as you outwit the Inquisition’s traps. This adventure marks the beginning of the Great War and the formation of the Black Hand, a mercenary group at the heart of the events in Of Orcs and Men.

Every great heist requires preparation! Craft weapons and potions before executing your next plan. A wide range of abilities are at your disposal: Thanks to your Amber skills, cloning and invisibility return. Master mind control and time-shifting abilities granted by Quartz. Every situation is a stealth puzzle with multiple possible solutions. Despite his small size, Styx uses agility, sharp wit, and sarcastic humor to escape the trickiest predicaments.

Roam freely through three vast, open environments: The Wall, marking the edge of the human world; the lush Orc village of Turquoise Dawn; and the ruins of the Elven capital, Akenash. Glide through the skies with your hang glider, reach inaccessible places with your grappling hook, and scale massive walls with your claws. Use the vertical landscapes to your advantage to reach objectives. Each new tool unlocks previously unreachable areas, offering a Metroidvania-style progression.

Styx: Blades of Greed will be released in the fall for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
