Gods, Death & Reapers: Wolcen Studio’s F2P Action RPG Has Been Christened [VIDEO]

The game is currently only available for PC, but you can try it out for a few days if you’re interested.

Gods, Death & Reapers is a free-to-play ExtrAction RPG that throws players into a brutal afterlife where mythology is real and the gods are gone. Starting with Norse mythology, Death himself has chosen players to help restore balance to the chaotic realms. The Sanctuary serves as players’ hidden base, where they prepare before venturing into perilous battlegrounds. Every run is a gamble: defeat deadly foes, survive PvPvE clashes, and secure loot. The stakes are high—death means losing everything carried. Only successful extractions grant rewards, tradable with others. Beyond Extraction Mode, Wolcen is working on a single-player story campaign and co-op PvE missions.

Travel through detailed mythological realms; face tough enemies; complete quests; and gather powerful weapons, armor, and artifacts. Master different playstyles in balanced PvPvE combat. Future updates will add a story campaign and PvE co-op without constant PvP pressure. Expand the Sanctuary, customize gear, and take on missions with unique objectives. In Extraction mode, every run tests your skill—survive to secure loot or lose it all. More maps, player trading, and new modes are planned.

Built with community feedback, Gods, Death & Reapers invites Closed Alpha testers to join the studio’s Discord to help shape the game. You can join the test now and wishlist on Steam. Closed Alpha 3.1 runs until August 24 at 11:00 a.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. CEST.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
