Xbox Game Pass: September 2025’s First Update

This time, Microsoft hasn’t dropped a long lineup, but it’s still worth checking out what’s coming and going in Xbox Game Pass this month.

I Am Your Beast is already available on Xbox Series, PC, and cloud for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard members. Starting today, Nine Sols is joining Xbox Series and is also available for Standard subscribers. Tomorrow brings two more big titles: Hollow Knight: Silksong (Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC, cloud; available on launch day for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass) and Cataclismo (PC; Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass). On September 10, Paw Patrol World (console, PC, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard—returning to the lineup) will be added, followed by RoadCraft on September 16 (Xbox Series, cloud; Game Pass Ultimate and Standard).

Microsoft also highlighted three DLCs. Overwatch 2 Season 18 with Stadium Quick Play is now live. On September 4, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants DLC arrives, with Game Pass members receiving a 10% discount on the premium digital upgrade for day-one access (base game required). On September 5, an EA Play early access trial of EA Sports NHL 26 goes live on Xbox Series.

Asphalt Legends Unite (console, PC, cloud) is offering a monthly gift pack, while The Finals (Xbox Series, PC, cloud) adds a Welcome Pack on September 11. An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perk this month is the Unlock Bundle in skate.³. Finally, three games leave the service on September 15, with members able to purchase them at up to 20% off: All You Need Is Help (console, PC, cloud), Wargroove 2 (console, PC, cloud), and We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie (console, PC, cloud).

The clear highlight of this update is Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
