TECH NEWS – Leading global consumer electronics and home appliance brand Hisense has announced that it will remain an official sponsor of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, extending a partnership with FIFA that has been in place since 2018.
Since 2018, the brand has been an active FIFA partner, achieving major global visibility milestones: showcasing its brand at the 2018 World Cup, launching the FIFA+ content partnership in 2022, contributing to VAR technologies at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and now continuing support for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. These steps have reinforced Hisense’s international presence and underline its commitment to delivering top-level fan experiences.
Catherine Fang, Executive Vice President of the Hisense Group, stated: “Football is a game of vision, passion, and unity that connects fans around the world. Our goal is for every supporter to experience matches as if they were in the stadium.”
Through ongoing innovations—including HDR technology, Laser TV, and the latest RGB-MiniLED models—Hisense offers an impressive visual experience that brings people closer to the beauty of the game.
The latest RGB-MiniLED TV showcased at IFA 2025 sets a new benchmark for picture quality, with enhanced colors, contrast, and brightness. This reinforces Hisense’s leadership in visual technology innovation and in shaping the future of home entertainment.
Romy Gai, FIFA’s Chief Business Officer, emphasized: “Our long-term partnership with Hisense demonstrates their commitment to innovation and to football fans around the globe. We look forward with great anticipation to preparations for the 2026 World Cup, working together to bring the excitement of the tournament to millions of homes.”
The 2026 World Cup will be the first to be hosted by three countries and contested by 48 teams. Hisense aims to bring the stadium experience into billions of living rooms worldwide, allowing fans to enjoy the festival of football in an unprecedented way.
