Bloodborne Update: Insider Shuts Down Hopes Ahead of PlayStation Showcase – Why Do They Keep Torturing Fans?

Bloodborne Update Shared By Insider Ahead of Rumoured PlayStation Showcase. Don’t keep teasing us like this.

Another day, another Bloodborne rumor that leaves fans torn between laughter and despair. Practically every year – and almost every month – we hear whispers that the game might resurface at a PlayStation event, only to be let down once again. For nearly a decade, fans have begged for a remake or, at the very least, a patch that unlocks 60fps support.

Since its release in 2015, Bloodborne has cemented itself as one of FromSoftware’s most beloved titles, attracting a legion of loyal players who continue to sing its praises. Each time a Sony showcase rolls around, fans brace themselves with clown makeup and trick weapons, clinging to the hope of an announcement. With the game’s 10th anniversary this year, speculation is especially strong—but according to one insider, there’s nothing to look forward to.

On Reddit, industry insider Jeff Grubb revealed that after checking recently, he heard nothing new about Bloodborne. While leaks are never guaranteed, Grubb has a solid track record of accurate scoops. “Checked in on it relatively recently, and kinda continued to hear nothing is happening with Bloodborne, so don’t expect that,” he explained.

One Redditor joked, “Mods move Grubb to tier 6. Not because he’s wrong, but because his information upsets me.” Another quipped, “So you just wanted to ruin my day today or what?” Honestly, we feel their pain.

A full remake—or even a polished remaster—would undoubtedly be a goldmine for Sony and FromSoftware while delighting fans worldwide. Instead, all we’re left with is silence… and heartbreak.
