Pearl Abyss was one of the developers who postponed their game, originally planned for this year, to 2026. However, we now have a new release date.

Crimson Desert is an open-world, action-adventure game set in the stunning yet perilous continent of Pywel. After an ambush by their sworn enemies, the Black Bears, leaves the Greymanes dead or scattered across the land, players follow Kliff as he embarks on a journey to rebuild the Greymanes and reclaim what has been lost. As players traverse the vast landscapes of Pywel, they will engage in intense battles, defeat formidable monsters, collect valuable loot, and experience the Greymanes’ journey with next-generation visuals.

Crimson Desert will launch with Collector’s, Deluxe, and Standard editions. The Collector’s Edition features an impressive, exclusive 17-inch diorama of Kliff and the Golden Star, a premium Greymane brooch pin, and a deluxe, woven fabric map of Pywel—all designed to elevate any collection. Pre-orders for all physical and digital editions will be available in the coming days at most major retailers. All pre-orders come with the Khaled Shield as a bonus. Additionally, fans who pre-order any PlayStation 5 edition will receive the Grotevant Plate Set DLC as an exclusive PlayStation 5 bonus.

The Standard Edition of the game will cost $70. The Deluxe Edition will cost $90. It includes the game, a limited SteelBook, a map of Pywel, a letter from the developer, a Greymane brooch pin, three character photo cards, and three patches. In the game, players will receive the Deluxe Pack, which includes the Balgran Shield, the Exclaire Horse Tack Set, and the Kairos Plate Set. The Collector’s Edition will cost $280. It includes the game, an exclusive 17-inch diorama, a limited edition SteelBook, a fabric map of Pywel, a letter from the developer, a Greymane brooch pin, three character photo cards, and three patches. In the game, you’ll receive the Deluxe Pack and the Ultimate Pack (Tormented Soul Bow, Derictus Spear, Sielos Longsword, Shroud Lantern, and Hyperion Horse Tack Set).

Crimson Desert is set to release on March 19 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
