After weeks of anticipation, Microsoft has finally cleared up one of the biggest mysteries surrounding the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally by opening pre-orders worldwide. While the device’s price range had leaked earlier, we now know officially that the standard version costs €599 and the ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at €899. Players didn’t hesitate — the first batch of the most powerful model was gone from the Xbox Store almost immediately.

“The hype is real! ROG Xbox Ally X pre-orders have sold out on the Xbox Store worldwide,” the company announced in a post on X. That doesn’t mean fans are out of luck, however: stock is still available on ASUS’ official website and through retailers like Fnac, GAME, and Amazon. In addition, Microsoft is expected to restock units after the global launch on October 16.

Players love what they’ve seen so far of the Xbox and ASUS collaboration.
