Registration is now open for the seventh season of the K&H Hungarian National Esports Championship, where the country’s best players will compete. Participants can battle it out across several popular titles, culminating in a live Super Cup showdown in December.
Autumn isn’t just about school starting and colder weather — it’s also when Hungary’s esports scene comes alive. The K&H Hungarian National Esports Championship has launched registrations for its fall season, offering players a chance to prove their skills in titles such as Rocket League, Rainbow 6 Siege X, the women’s Counter-Strike 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Assetto Corsa Competizione. The season will culminate in a live Super Cup in December, where the best of the best will face off for ultimate glory.
As Hungary’s longest-running esports league, K&H MNEB aims to strengthen the local competitive community, provide a platform for new talent, and deliver a professional competition environment for all participants. Players will also battle for a prize pool exceeding 4 million HUF during the fall season and year-end Super Cup.
“K&H has long supported dedication across various sports — esports included,” said Nóra Horváth Magyary Voljč, Communications Director at K&H Group. “The championship is not just a competitive arena but also a community experience, where players and fans can share the excitement of esports together.”
“Each season is a huge organizational challenge but also a rewarding experience,” added Gábor Tóta, Chairman of the HUNESZ Events and Competition Committee. “We aim to create a stable, predictable competitive environment where everyone faces opponents of similar skill levels. Player feedback shows that the Hungarian esports community is constantly evolving.”
Women in the Spotlight
This season also puts a strong emphasis on female players. Once again, women will compete in their own Counter-Strike 2 category. The competition isn’t just about gameplay — it’s about education and visibility, too. On October 17, HUNESZ will host its Women’s Esports Day, celebrating its first anniversary. The free, registration-only event will showcase women’s leagues, career opportunities, and the broader social impact of esports.
