Xbox has announced 12 more free games for Game Pass subscribers, expanding the lineup alongside the 45 titles arriving in October. Players will be able to experience titles like Ninja Gaiden 4 and Keeper thanks to Microsoft’s growing service.
Many assumed there would be no more updates to Xbox Game Pass in early October after the service dominated headlines with major changes: two new plans (Essential and Premium), price increases for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and 45 new games added to the library. However, Microsoft isn’t slowing down — and now we know 12 more games are being added over the coming days.
There’s something for everyone: fantasy RPG fans can dive into the original Baldur’s Gate, action lovers can try Ball x Pit, and new titles like Keeper and Ninja Gaiden 4 are also on the way. Here’s the complete list of games confirmed for early October 2025, as published on Xbox Wire:

Many subscribers will avoid the Game Pass price increase altogether. Since the major announcement, Microsoft has been steadily sharing more details about its strategy. Yesterday, for example, it was revealed that the price hike will not affect all players: many in Europe have received emails confirming the change will only apply to new users or those without auto-renewal enabled. As a result, many will likely keep their subscriptions to avoid paying more each month.
