Battlefield 6 Beats Call of Duty’s EU Launch Numbers!

Fresh GSD data for the week ending October 12, 2025 shows Battlefield 6 topping Europe’s unit and revenue charts, outpacing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at launch—despite PC hiccups and a divisive progression system that EA moved quickly to address—while EA touts 7M+ units sold in the game’s first three days worldwide.

Video Games Europe’s Game Sales Data (GSD) tracks retail and digital software sales across the EU (plus Africa and Australia). Its latest report puts Battlefield 6 at No. 1 for both units and revenue. The shooter’s opening week was an estimated four times bigger than Battlefield V’s and beat Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s EU launch sales. As The Game Business notes, last year’s CoD launched day-and-date into Xbox Game Pass, which skews pure premium-sales comparisons—and day-one Game Pass looks set to remain the norm for the series.

EA also says Battlefield 6 sold over seven million copies in three days, marking the franchise’s biggest debut. Elsewhere on the GSD charts, EA held the top two spots (with EA Sports FC 26 at No. 2), followed by Ghost of Yotei and Little Nightmares III. The lists diverge only at fifth: units have Red Dead Redemption 2, while revenue features Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2. Note that Nintendo’s digital sales aren’t included, as the company only shares physical figures.
