Nvidia Has Temporarily Waved Goodbye to the Chinese Market! [VIDEO]

TECH NEWS – CEO Jensen Huang says Nvidia’s China market share has dropped to 0%. As the country pivots to a domestic AI stack, local tech giants are moving away from Nvidia’s offerings, leaving the company without a viable presence there.

Speaking at Citadel Securities’ Future of Global Markets 2025, Huang said Nvidia is “100% out of China,” a complete reversal from its once-dominant position. He argued this means the U.S. has effectively lost one of the world’s largest AI markets; internal forecasts now assume zero contribution from China.

The plunge reflects geopolitical tensions and export curbs, while competition from Huawei and Cambricon intensifies. Huawei has announced plans to challenge Nvidia’s Vera Rubin rack-scale line with advanced AI chips, signaling a sharper rivalry.

Nvidia’s path forward in China remains unclear pending regulatory approvals. Huang has floated a Blackwell-based part (likely B40) as a possible option, but current curbs effectively limit offerings to Hopper and older generations, which are less competitive.

Whether Nvidia can rebuild its China revenues is uncertain. For now, Huang’s remarks suggest Beijing is, at least for the moment, off the board.
