Dying Light: The Beast: Ray Tracing Now Available on PC!

The 1.4 update for Techland’s game Dying Light has introduced many new features, and the story of Kyle Crane’s revenge finally looks even better on PC.

The 1.4 update for Dying Light is now available. The Beast is now available. It includes numerous new features and improvements, such as PC ray tracing. Players can now optionally enable ray tracing for lighting, shadows, and reflections, which improves the atmosphere of Castor Woods and enhances the gaming experience. Additionally, the Polish studio has fixed over 70 graphical issues, including problems with textures, floating objects, clipping, and poorly aligned architecture.

As promised in last month’s 11-week roadmap, the first-person survival horror adventure now offers new opportunities to extend gameplay with the addition of the New Game+ mode. Players can replay Kyle Crane’s story while retaining the equipment, weapons, and character development acquired during the first playthrough. The enemies’ difficulty level increases, but new, higher-level weapons and loot become available to match the challenge. The New Game+ mode can be repeated multiple times. Each completed playthrough increases the game’s difficulty and grants access to more powerful and rare weapons, as well as Castor Woods’s most formidable enemies.

Update 1.4 introduced the Legend Levels feature. This classic Dying Light endgame progression system takes characters beyond the limits of the main skill tree. Once players reach level 15, all XP earned is converted to Legend XP. Higher difficulty settings and New Game+ levels increase experience gain. This means that the more players challenge themselves, the faster they progress. Each Legend Level grants Legend Points, which can be spent on passive upgrades, such as increasing HP, improving combat stats, and enhancing Beast Mode performance. The 1.4 update was primarily based on community feedback. Over 200 parkour and environmental navigation issues, initially identified by players, have been resolved.

The developers also added three new finishing moves: one for one-handed blunt weapons, one for two-handed blunt weapons, and one for two-handed cutting weapons. The new weekly community challenge focuses on finishing moves. Perform one million finishing moves to receive a Gutsbuster Car Skin or two and a half million to receive the Rascal.

Week 9 of Call of the Beast runs until 4 p.m. on December 4. As always, rewards will be added to your inventory at the end of the challenge. Log in by December 2 to receive an exclusive in-game gift: the Bloody Bowie Knife. There will also be a limited-time double XP event from November 27 to 30.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
