Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7: Has Sales Momentum Already Slowed in Europe?

Compared to its release week, sales of this year’s Call of Duty have naturally declined, but perhaps not to this extent.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was released just over two weeks ago. According to the latest GSD Sales Data report, it has already slipped down the EU sales charts in its second week. Meanwhile, thanks to favorable Black Friday deals, games that had not been on the charts for a while have returned. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 topped the charts in its release week, although its sales were 63% behind those of Battlefield 6. In its second week (November 17–23), it slipped to second place, with EA Sports FC 24 overtaking it in both revenue and units sold.

Battlefield 6 remained in the top five but moved to third place on both lists, just behind Black Ops 7. Other recent releases, such as Anno 117: Pax Romana, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus retained their places in the top 10 on both lists. Meanwhile, Football Manager 2023 seemingly disappeared after an outstanding opening week. Kirby Air Riders is the only other new entry on the list among the newly released games, barely making it onto the revenue list in tenth place. The other new entries on both lists are due to Black Friday sales, which also boosted older titles. Thanks to holiday promotions, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and It Takes Two also returned to the charts.
