Thirty games have made it into the first round of this year’s Players’ Voice category. The list will soon shrink, but for now, players can still choose their favorites from a remarkably large pool.
The Game Awards are just over a week away, marking the end of 2025 and bringing us ever closer to the year’s biggest gaming announcements. Nearly every category’s nominees have already been revealed, except one: the Player’s Voice Award, which is decided entirely by the audience in three rounds. The first round is now live on The Game Awards website, allowing players to review the nominees and cast their votes. The competition begins with 30 games, from which players must choose their ten favorites to advance to the next stage.
We can already make our picks on the website (https://thegameawards.com/brackets/players-voice). If we want our vote counted in each round, it’s best to act quickly, as the first round closes at 6 p.m. Pacific on December 2. Unsurprisingly, all six nominees for Game of the Year also appear in Players’ Voice. Most of the 30 titles received at least one other nomination at this year’s show, but a few—such as Delta Force, Genshin Impact, Warframe, and REPO—were nominated exclusively in this category.
